About me:
Hi, I'm Tanya and welcome to my online platform. Born in Canada, I grew up with a deep appreciation for nature and a passion for movement. While completing a degree in Psychology, I discovered yoga and immediately fell in love with the practice.

Over the next few years, I dedicated myself to studying and practicing yoga, eventually becoming a certified yoga instructor. I began teaching classes and quickly developed a reputation for a unique approach to yoga, blending ashtanga, hatha, and vinyasa styles with an emphasis on the intellectual connection between the body and mind. With over 4000 hours of teaching experience, ERYT500 certification and certificates in prenatal, yin, restorative, and pranayama yoga, I am a highly skilled and knowledgeable instructor who is passionate about sharing the transformative power of yoga with others.

I also have experience teaching teacher training programs and organizing workshops focused on meditation and pranayama. Always looking for new ways to share my love of yoga with others, I began organizing yoga and wellness retreats that combined yoga and mindfulness with experiences like wine tastings and fruit picking on local farms. These retreats were hugely popular, and people came to experience the unique blend of relaxation, movement, and nature that I offered.

Since 2012 I was full-time teaching, and known for my ability to create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere in my classes and workshops. I am a gifted teacher who is able to connect with students on a deep level, inspiring them to find balance and peace in their own lives.

In the wake of the pandemic, I faced several changes in my life that took me off my own spiritual path. But after some time, this has made me redouble my efforts to help people find moments of peace and connection in the midst of the chaos of daily life. I believe that yoga and mindfulness practices are more important than ever, and I am committed to creating experiences that help people connect with themselves and others in a meaningful way. As someone who is passionate about wellness, I also created this space to share the things that give me strength, spirituality, and a love of life. In this space, I combined my service and interests in travel, yoga, running, sports, music, books, psychology, nature, sunrises and sunsets, and the dear ocean.
